Safe Boating Policy
South of Perth Yacht Club (SoPYC) promotes safe, responsible boating and sailing. All members, skippers, and crews must comply with WA boating regulations, Australian Sailing Special Regulations, and event-specific race requirements.
Skippers are responsible for ensuring their vessel is seaworthy, properly equipped, and crew are trained and prepared for the conditions.
Carry required safety equipment.
Brief crew on emergency procedures.
Practise Man Overboard (MOB) recovery.
Meet all racing and safety requirements.
