Facilities in detail
What each facility offers and who it suits.
Water pens
With 473 marina pens ranging from 5m to 25m, SoPYC offers secure berthing for sailboats, powerboats and cruisers. Pens include access to power and water, with long-term pen leases available.
Swing moorings
Our swing moorings provide an affordable alternative to a marina pen and include storage space for a small tender.
Hardstand storage
Store your trailer boat securely on-site with access to 145 hardstand bays ranging from 7m to 12m. Hardstand users also enjoy access to the Club’s private launch ramp.
Launch ramp
Our private members-only launch ramp features a floating jetty and secure access, making launching and retrieving your boat simple and convenient.
Launch cranes
Three 3-tonne launch cranes are available for suitable vessels. Training is provided to ensure safe operation.
Vessel lifter
Our travel lift accommodates vessels from 6m to 18m and is available five days a week for haul-outs, maintenance, inspections and cleaning. For details, visit our Boat Facilities and Maintenance page.
Fuel pump (PULP and diesel)
Members can access competitively priced premium unleaded and diesel fuel from the Club’s fuel dock throughout the year.
Black water pump
Free for voting members, our pump-out station is conveniently located on the marina and supports environmentally responsible boating practices.
24/7 bathrooms, showers and change rooms
Modern shower, bathroom and change room facilities are available 24 hours a day using your membership access key.
How to Apply for a Marina Facility
- Become a Voting Member Join as a voting member and complete your membership application.
- Submit Your Facility Application Apply online for a water pen, mooring, hardstand bay or other marina facility.
- Complete a Safety Self-Audit Verify your vessel meets the Club's marina safety requirements.
- Allocation Applications are held until a suitable facility becomes available. You will be notified when allocated.
- Payment & Access Once approved and paid, you can begin using your allocated facility.
